Planning to join us at Longwood on New Year's Eve? The Gardens will be open until 11 pm and we’ll feature a variety of musical groups throughout the evening. If you’re joining us in the Gardens, free, timed reservations are required except for Gardens Premium Members and Innovators; limited reservations remain.
Celebrations are also taking place in downtown Kennett Square. Usher in 2023 with Midnight in the Square featuring the iconic Mushroom Drop! It's an evening of live music, entertainment, and fun beginning at 7:30 pm.

As we mark the halfway point of the Longwood Reimagined project, work continues throughout the site. We look forward to bringing you more Beauty in the Making moments in 2023. Start the New Year with New Opportunities to Learn |
Our opportunities to learn—and have fun—abound. Dive into a class (or two, or three!) this winter and try your hand at floral design, get creative with photography, expand your plant knowledge with classes in vegetable gardening or plant propagation, and much more. Or, join us at The Creamery of Kennett Square for our ongoing Plantology on Tap series, featuring monthly botanical talks paired with a delicious small bite and signature cocktail. We welcome you to enrich your world and watch yourself grow.

Members are required to make free, timed reservations every day from open to close during A Longwood Christmas. Limited reservations remain. Reservations not required for Gardens Premium Members and Innovators.

Upcoming Closures in the Gardens |
Our Conservatory, the Peirce-du Pont House, and The Garden Shop will be closed Monday, January 9, as we prepare new displays for you to enjoy. All outdoor gardens will remain open.
The Terrace Restaurant and The Café will be closed January 22–27, 2023.
The Canopy Cathedral Treehouse will be closed for the winter season and will reopen for Spring Blooms. The Birdhouse Treehouse and Lookout Loft remain open.
