From the 5th to the 7th May 2022, the youth in Bangladesh spent three days together for their National Discipleship Youth Conference. All five districts were represented by 265 young people and many ministry leaders who were there to support and encourage them!
Alen Bala, NYI president for the South District of Bangladesh says, “We have waited and prayed for three years to make this event happen!”
There were more than a hundred participants pre-registered to join this conference, despite the challenge of getting bus or train tickets to attend the event. Other ministries like Nazarene Discipleship International (NDI) and Nazarene Missions International (NMI) leaders also participated in this event.
The youth enjoyed teaching and training with a variety of speakers around the theme of BE ONE. MAKE ONE, as well as participating in group work, worship services, games, and activities. Many of the young people expressed their heartfelt gratitude for having such a wonderful opportunity to attend the conference and all they learned and gained from the experience.
