CDC PUBLISHED PAPER ON DUKE'S COVID SURVEILLANCE TESTING PROGRAM
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) published a peer-reviewed paper on Duke's successful COVID-19 surveillance testing program. Duke's pooled testing methods, which efficiently checks multiple samples in one scan, have been largely successful in mitigating coronavirus infections across its campus. As stated in the report, "These findings highlight the importance of combined testing and contact tracing strategies beyond symptomatic testing, in association with other preventative measures."
