Someren Glen Introduces New Transitional Care Neighborhood
Within minutes of moving upstairs to the new Someren Glen Transitional Care Neighborhood, Tom’s (not his real name) eyes lit up. As his care partners described, his entire demeanor changed from grumpy to joyful, and he began to eat heartily. The difference that a bright, welcoming environment made was obvious.
On February 7, Christian Living Communities welcomed guests at its new state-of-the-art rehabilitation neighborhood, which is the result of a $3 million investment that converted an older, outdated neighborhood at the Suites at Someren Glen.
The newly remodeled, post-acute care rehabilitation neighborhood features 18 private suites with hotel-like amenities including Soundwall technology that combines customized therapeutic music and visual art, a mini-fridge, luxury linens and turndown service.
Natural light fills a spacious therapy gym, an on-demand dining bistro and comfortable meeting nooks. Offerings are also being arranged to make sure guests’ families feel at home with meals, movies, 24-7 access and roll-out beds for their convenience. View our photo gallery here!
The Someren Glen Transitional Care Neighborhood was designed by Lantz Boggio Architects, executed by Pinkard Construction, and decorated by Aneka Interiors. It will serve seniors in Denver, Arapahoe, Douglas, Adams and Jefferson counties.
