A letter from your Chairman
As your 2018 Chairman, I am very excited to share with you new updates and upcoming events for the Greater Nashville Hospitality Association. We have a lot of new exciting programs and events – Specifically, the GNHA Board of Directors has approved the creation of the GNHA Associate’s Emergency Fund. The focus of the fund is to help member employees make it through an emergency. Emergency considerations include but are not limited to health, fire, homelessness, etc. Applications must be completed and sworn to by the general manager or owner. This program will be under our GNHA Education Foundation umbrella so all donations are fully tax deductible. For more information or to donate click here.
Our next GNHA event will be Wednesday, February 14th (tomorrow) – This is our annual Industry Overview and Leadership Skills breakfast at the Omni Nashville Downtown. This will be an event you will not want to miss! We have Chuck Pinkowski, CEO, Pinkowski & Company, giving us a hotel industry update. Also, Sergeant Rickey Bearden, a 9-year police department veteran, educating us on Disaster Preparedness. This breakfast will be packed with great information to prepare you for 2018. You can register here.
A fun event coming up Monday, February 19th is our GNHA Mix and Mingle. This is a free
event that will take place at the newly opened and historic Woolworth on 5th. GNHA members are encouraged to bring a non-member to learn about the many benefits our association has to offer. This will be a great event and exciting venue to see! Register here.
I hope to see you all at these upcoming events and look forward to what 2018 holds for our industry!
2018 GNHA Chairman
