Complete Your Housing Application

As the University continues to develop plans for the living and dining arrangements for the Fall 2021 semester, information will be communicated to you as soon as possible. In the meantime, please complete the Housing application by Tuesday, June 22.
This application includes lifestyle questions that will be used for roommate matching, along with housing policies, terms and contracts. When you submit your application, you will have the opportunity to select your dining plan. Your housing assignment will be available in MyDuke in July.
Check out the Living section in your Blue Book for instructions on how to access the application.

Submit Your

Don't forget to submit your immunization records. Forms must be signed by your clinician and received by Duke Student Health by today, June 15. Duke Common
Experience Selection

The Duke Common Experience program is designed to introduce students to the academic climate at Duke University and to encourage discussion and intellectual dialogue among undergraduate students.

Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid has been selected as your summer reading text. Check out the Duke Today press release for more information about this selection. You will receive a copy of Such a Fun Age later this summer. Your orientation experience will include programming with Kiley Reid, as well as facilitated discussions with your peers.

Update Your DukeHub Profile

It is important to make sure your DukeHub stays up-to-date with your most current information. To do this, go to DukeHub and select "My Profile" on the left-hand side. Your profile includes things such as preferred name, gender pronouns, contact information, and emergency contacts.

Take time to make sure your information is correct; especially your mailing address since this is where your Duke Common Experience book will be sent later this summer!

Parent and Family Communications

We encourage you to start identifying your support network and incorporating them into your educational journey. This can be any person who is financially or emotionally supporting your education at Duke.
If your parents or family members would like to receive communications from the University, you will need to add their email addresses to your DukeHub account.
Directions for doing this:
  1. Login to DukeHub
  2. Click on the "Profile" section
  3. Find "Relationship/Proxy"
  4. Add the names and email addresses for your parents, guardians, or primary caretakers
  5. Check "yes" next to "Send University Correspondence" for each added relationship
