Duke Student Affairs

October 22, 2021

Hey, Duke family. How are you feeling? We know we've said it before, but we want to remind you again that so many people here at Duke are here for you. Please take care of yourselves, and be kind to one another as well.
We're now in the heart of October, with shorter days, crunchier leaves, and crisper air. We encourage you to take a moment to step outside and take a deep breath, and feel the sun and the breeze. These are little things we've been feeling especially grateful for lately.
We had a wonderful time meeting so many of your families last weekend, and we also also want to say how grateful we are for you—our Duke family. We hope the next couple of weeks treat you kindly, and as always...
Go Duke,
Gary Bennett, Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education
