A message from the Office of Greek Life

First year students are eligible to join Greek organizations in January, and many have been getting to know our Greek community through the fall semester. We encourage parents and family members to learn about the fraternity and sorority recruitment and intake process. You can find more about the process on the Office of Greek Life webpage and in the Greek Life Information Session presented during Family Weekend 2021 on the Vanderbilt YouTube channel.

It is important that students only consider membership in recognized organizations. It has come to our attention that students who were affiliated with the organization previously recognized as Delta Kappa Epsilon have been engaging in fraternity-like activities, including hosting off-campus social events and trying to recruit members. We strongly discourage people from affiliating or participating in activities with this group. To learn more about this specific issue, please review the recent letter sent to community members by the Office of Greek Life.
