Dear Friends of the India Center at UCF,
Welcome to fall semester 2022! As the new semester is starting, we are excited to continue the work of the India Center to promote the understanding of contemporary India and U.S. – India relations. In particular, we are pleased to create additional opportunities for our students and faculty by signing an MoU with the Vellore Institute of Technology. Recently, we hosted visitors from Rajagiri College of Social Sciences to discuss future opportunities for collaboration. As we acknowledge the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, the India Center is planning a series of public events across a range of topics. We hope to see you on campus for a film screening and discussion with UCF’s film professor Dr. Lisa Mills and for an evening with Kal Penn later this month; you can find information about these and additional events below.

We are grateful for your support, and we hope to see you at our events this fall,
Kerstin Hamann, Ph.D.
