Days away from government approval for a COVID vaccine, a panel of national vaccine experts convened in our latest virtual seminar to discuss the logistics and ethics involved in a national immunization campaign. 
As the U.S. Supreme Court debates the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), a recent study by Lena Winestone, Jeffrey Silber, and colleagues finds that young adults with cancer benefited from the ACA’s under-26 dependent coverage provision.
Supported by an LDI COVID-19 Rapid Response Grant, Nadim Mahmud and Marina Serper find that telemedicine visits for patients with cirrhosis have tripled in the Veterans Health Administration during the pandemic.
In a study of nearly 500 hospitals, Rebecca R. S. Clark and Eileen Lake show wide variation in average rates of spontaneous vaginal births, even among women at low risk for C-sections.
Penn LDI is sponsoring the Summer Undergraduate Minority Research (SUMR) Program, an internship that aims to increase minority representation in graduate schools in the fields of health economics, health policy, health care management, population health, and clinical epidemiology.
