Fifth Sunday in Easter

Easter continues this Sunday! Worship through Holy Eucharist at 8:30 and 11 a.m. The 8:30 service will be live-streamed and available on-demand later in the morning. Masks are optional at both services. KN95 masks are available for anyone who would like to wear one.

 

For Families: The nursery will open at 8:15 a.m. for ages 0 - 3 years, and the 8:30 service will include a children's homily for 3 yrs - 6th grade.

Almighty God, whom truly to know is everlasting life: Grant us so perfectly to know your Son Jesus Christ to be the way, the truth, and the life, that we may steadfastly follow his steps in the way that leads to eternal life; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

10 A.M. FORMATION HOUR

 

Next Sunday, May 22nd, will be the last day for formation classes until the fall.

 

CLASSES FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH

 

Children, infants through 6th grade, and youth, 7-12th grade, will meet downstairs in the parish hall building. 

 

CLASSES FOR ADULTS

 

Praying Together (The Gym): Practice resurrection this Eastertide by listening and looking for the risen Christ through traditional contemplative exercises. Learn a different prayer practice each week. This week:  Shannon Truss leads us in the practice of using Lectio Divina on poetry and prose. 

 

Becoming Beloved Community (Wallace Hall): Hear community leaders and advocates share stories about their work and how they discerned a call to stand up for those experiencing systemic injustice. Each week will feature a different speaker. This week: Mike Hodge, lead organizer for NOAH (Nashville Organized for Action & Hope).
