Greetings from the University Staff Advisory Council!

February Meeting Highlights

  • Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Dean of Residential Faculty Vanessa Beasley, Ph.D. was our keynote speaker and provided us with an overview of our residential colleges.  She reminded us that the non-living amenities are available for use by staff of the university.  Check out the many dining options in our residential colleges.  Listen to her entire presentation by clicking below.
  • Stacey Bonner, Wellbeing Manager, shared Campus & Community Resources including items such as the Mental Fortitude presentation on Feb 17, Aetna behavioral televideo services and tax filing assistance using VITA free tax prep program.  The quote of the month is..."Today, I will not stress over things I cannot control".
    Spread the Love Fundraiser
USAC has a longstanding tradition of participating in Second Harvest food drive in February.  Will are continuing this tradition this year as a virtual food drive.  The number of Middle Tennessee children at risk of hunger has jumped from one in seven to more than one in four because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Our goal is $6,000 to provide 24,000 meals for area children and adults.
