Dear Alumni and Friends,
You don't need to look far to see the incredible work and creativity on display on our campus this spring. For instance, our current art exhibition, Beyond Borders: The Art of Siona Benjamin, is an inspiring collection of pieces related to personal identity. We can thank our inaugural Distinguished Professor, Samantha Baskind, for her work as curator in bringing this artist's work to CSU.
In addition, several offices and departments have coordinated engaging, informative and fun events for this year's Women's History Month. You can click here for the full schedule.
Finally, I am inspired by colleagues all across campus working to create a welcoming, rewarding workplace. According to the latest rankings by Forbes, CSU is among the top ten best midsize employers in the country. While I am very proud of this recognition, there is no time to rest on our laurels as we continue striving every day to ensure CSU is a great place for our faculty, staff and students to work, learn and thrive.
And to our men's and women's basketball teams playing in the Horizon League championships today (details below), Go Vikes!
Regards,
