Immunization compliance reminder

Washington state law requires that all school age children are compliant with immunizations prior to the first day of school.
This means your student will not be allowed to start school in September if they are missing immunizations (this does NOT include the COVID-19 vaccine) and/or do not have a current Certificate of Exemption on file.
Now is the time to start planning to ensure your student is fully compliant and can start school on time.
If you are uncertain if your student needs immunizations, please reach out to Carrie Foster - elementary or Teena Jones - middle school and high school.
You may also register with the MyIR Mobile app to gain access and control over your student’s immunization records. MyIR Mobile is in partnership with the Washington State Immunization Information System and the Department of Health and allows you to review your immunization history, get reminders for future immunizations, and even print your own official records…it’s all free and just a click away.

Reopening plan update

We also wanted to keep you apprised of recent developments from Governor Jay Inslee (July 30), the WIAA (starts on page 14) through the Washington State Department of Health (Aug. 10) and the Pierce County Health Board (Aug. 18). The Board of Directors and our Administrative Team have been in discussion about our reopening plan and will be following up with that information in the next few weeks.

New student e-mail addresses

We will be converting student email addresses from to on Monday, Aug. 30 and we will have information about how to access email and TEAMS at the Back to School Night event.
