Athletic/Activity Attendance Policy

There has been a lot of questions around the attendance policy. Click HERE to read the policy.

Baseball

The Huskies hosted Summit last Tuesday, and came away with a loss in a close game. They followed that with a loss at Palisade on Saturday. The boys are in playoff contention, so they’ll be looking to battle their way in.

Boys Lacrosse

The boys lacrosse team started last week with a road loss to Aspen on Monday. However, they ended strong with a great win over Durango on Saturday. The boys are currently 14th in the CHSAA RPI, so definitely in the playoff hunt!

Girls Lacrosse

The girls lacrosse team traveled to Aspen last Tuesday. The Huskies battled, but fell to the Skiers. However, they followed that with two good road wins to end the week, defeating Steamboat on Thursday and taking down Roaring Fork on Saturday. The girls are currently 6th in the CHSAA RPI, which is their highest ranking in recent history!

Girls Soccer

Girls soccer traveled to Palisade last Tuesday, and the Huskies took down the Bulldogs! They followed that with another roadtrip on Thursday at Summit, where the Huskies dominated once again. The girls capped off a league-heavy week with a big win over Glenwood Springs on Saturday! The girls are sitting at 28th in the CHSAA RPI, so they are battling for a playoff berth.

Girls Golf

The girls golf team competed at Eagle Ranch on 4/26. We brought 12 players down to compete.  4 in stroke play and two teams of 4 in JV scramble play. That's a great turnout! The stroke play squad finished 3rd overall as a team missing a trophy by 2 strokes!  Our scramble teams finished third and fourth respectively out of 8 teams. Standouts included Tatum Vickers leading her team while Dharma Bronsing and Anna Arnold were more than solid off the tee and around the green.

Track and Field

The BMHS track and field team split this past weekend. At Liberty Bell, competing against 40+ of the best 4A and 5A teams in the state, the girls placed 6th, and the boys finished in 9th. Boys’ individual highlights include: TJ Nixon - 1st in high jump, Sully Middaugh - 3rd in the 2 mile, and the 4X800 team - 3rd. Girls’ individual highlights include: Augustine Hancock - 3rd in discus, 4X400 team - 1st, and 4X800 team - 2nd. There were some notable finishes at the Steamboat meet as well:  Patrick Friery - 1st in pole vault, Caden McCommons - 3rd in shot, Theo Krueger - 3rd in the 1600, Maggie Goranova - 3rd in pole vault, and Kate Caudill - 4th in the 800.
