  HELPING DURING THE WAR
Welcome and welcome back! As you discover buildings on campus, keep in mind the history behind them and how life on campus has changed over time. For example, World War II drastically changed campus life, and war relief campaigns like blood drives, knitting drives, first aid classes and food drives became ongoing projects. One building that was then used as a dormitory, housed Army Air Corps soldiers from September 1942 through December 1943, who were attending a glider training center in Denton. Which campus building was used for this purpose? The first 10 students to send an email with the correct answer will win a Mean Green prize pack. The answer will be announced in next week's issue.
