Reminder: Post-Graduation Opportunities Informational Packet |
All schools serving students in grades 8-12 are required to provide families with the Post-Graduation Opportunities Informational Packet in electronic or non-electronic form by October 1.
While a district may add the packet to its website or other existing resources, it must
be directly distributed to students in an electronic or non-electronic format. Please review the recent MDE memo on the subject for additional details.

PD Spotlight: Secrets of the Digitally Organized Educator |
Each year the GVSU CSO offers free workshops and webinars to help all educators find more solutions in teaching and learning.
This year's professional education slate starts with "Secrets of the Digitally Organized Educator" a 4-session series on how teachers can leverage Google tools to their benefit.

2024-2025 Virtual Board Trainings start Sept. 30 |
The CSO annually holds virtual training sessions for the board members governing GVSU's charter public schools to help boards enhance their oversight capacity. This year's training schedule starts on September 30.
All trainings count toward the school board continuous learning requirements associated with the GVSU CSO Academic Grant.

School building leaders are invited to GVSU this fall for an in-depth update about GVSU initiatives and opportunities the CSO provides during the school year. Below are the dates and times for this year's Fall Principals Meetings:

- Detroit session -- October 9, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at GVSU Detroit Center

Grand Rapids session -- October 10, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at GVSU Pew Campus
- This session will be livestreamed.

The Grand Rapids session will have a livestream option for any leaders who cannot attend either session in person. Lunch will be provided. RSVPs due by September 30.
