UT Extension Farmers’ Market Fresh Program
The Weakley County UT Extension office is promoting the Farmers’ Market Fresh Program with a booth at the Dresden Farmers’ Market on Saturdays July 16, 7/30 and August 13, and 8/27 from 8am until 12pm, where they will be offering food demonstrations, recipes, and research-based advice on the best ways to select and store some of our favorite summertime items. This year's festival is September 2-11, 2016 and our theme is "HOMEGROWN"!

Milan No-Till Field Day 

The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture will host the Milan No-Till Crop Production Field Day on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the AgResearch and Education Center at Milan. The event will offer 40 research-based presentations led by academic experts. 
The event is free and open to the public. Gates open at 6 a.m. with presentations and an agricultural industry trade show beginning at 7 a.m. The field day will conclude at 2 p.m. More information, including a list of presentations, is available at http://milan.tennessee.edu
