PRINCIPALS NOTE
Dear Friends,

Thank you to the members of our incredible PTO Beautification Committee for the gorgeous landscaping they did on Saturday. Even the youngest among the Ordway Otters noticed how beautiful everything looked this morning.

The week ahead is going to be especially fun! On Friday morning the annual Bike to School event returns to Ordway. While many may ride their bikes, some may still take the bus, walk, or be dropped off - we’ll make it fun for everyone to see all the colorful bikes parked out on the lawn in front of our school.

More wonderful news is that the Ordway Carnival is back this Friday, May 20th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Here are a few updates:
  • Free admission to Ordway Carnival.
  • The Ordway Carnival is an Ordway family only event. Yes, families may bring siblings who do not go to Ordway.
  • A gentle reminder to parents that all K-8 students per BISD policy must be accompanied by an adult
  • This year there is no food provided at the event; however, families are more than welcome to bring a picnic for themselves.

Thankfully the weather is looking promising for Friday! Thank you to the various staff and parent volunteers who are working to make these events take place for our students!
Best,
Debra
