In the American Journal of Managed Care, Arman Oganisian, David Grande, Nandita Mitra, and Krisda Chaiyachati find that an insurer-led Medicaid care management program for high-cost patients had no impact on cost and utilization in the subsequent year.  
LDI COVID-19 Rapid Response Grants: Featured Projects
A study in BMJ Quality & Safety led by Karen Lasater shows inadequate patient-to-nurse staffing ratios in hospitals in New York and Illinois at the start of the pandemic.  
Hamsa Bastani tested methods for estimating actual COVID-19 cases when testing is limited, finding that the number of COVID cases in Pennsylvania may be 60% higher than the publicly reported number.  
Daniel Hopkins and colleagues surveyed Pennsylvanians about partisan views on pandemic policies and safety advice from 'elite' sources, revealing strong support for social distancing and high trust in medical experts.
