While you’re getting back into the swing of the Spring semester, here’s a couple things:

Asymptomatic testing is back this semester. You can visit this webpage or text “2020” to (833) 991-3009 to request a test. When you sign up, you can go any day, any time during testing hours that week. It works with your schedule! Testing is in the Ford Center parking lot Mondays and Tuesdays, 1-5 p.m. and Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. This week, you can also go Friday, Jan. 22, 1-4 p.m.

The more people who can do asymptomatic testing, the more info the university will have to decide if it can hold more events.

Spring semester goes straight through until the last day of classes, which is April 23. Speaking of which…

To do: plan ahead for the next three months

Here are a few things you can do now that will help you stay on top of things and create some good habits.
- Get a study group. ✔️
- Make yourself a schedule. ✔️
- Start assignments early. ✔️
- Stay on top of your reading. ✔️
- If you do find yourself falling behind and you’re not sure what to do, reach out to CSSFYE for student success coaching. They’re there for exactly that. 📚
- Remember that this is temporary. We can help each other push through and get back to regular life, thanks to...

While we’re waiting for the vaccine to be available to most college students, you can learn more about it on the vaccination webpage. UM’s Dr. Josh Sharp recorded a video about how mRNA works in our bodies and in the existing vaccines. This mRNA explainer video makes science easier to understand and will make you sound smart when you quote it.
