2020-21 Theme: UNITY

'Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!' - Ps. 133:1
Ready, set, bid! It's Annual Auction time
It's that time of year again ... Auction time. The Diamond Jubilee 38th Annual Auction kicks off at 12 p.m. Monday, April 19 and closes at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 24.

There will be new items added daily, so be sure and check back often. The auction will culminate with final select items being able to win from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, April 24.

Please be sure to register here to be able to bid on items and receive notifications about new items available.

From vacation villas in California to a three-hour boat tour to rabbits there is something for everyone.

This year's auction wraps up our 60th year celebration here at TBS. Every year this event helps raise the critical funds we need to continue to keep our tuition affordable, provide tuition assistance programs, offset operating expenses and allows us to advance our student programs.

The 2021-22 school calendar is here

The school year will begin Sept. 1 for grades 9-12 and Sept. 7 for everyone else.

Help choose the new mascot

The students have spoken and now we want to hear from you about what our new mascot should be.
Please visit this link and vote only once in the poll. The results will help guide the Athletic Department, Administrative Leadership Team and the Board of Directors in making a final decision. This survey will remain open through the end of the business day Thursday.
The final five choices are: Lions, Orcas, Wolves, Panthers and Stallions (a late addition). For more information on why the mascot is changing, please visit our FAQ page.
Knights and Dragons were given consideration, but references to medieval-type imagery was not a direction the Board of Directors wanted to pursue. We also considered Falcons and Sentinel, but they were too close to a direct competitor and didn't gain traction in focus group polling, respectively.
Thank you for your patience with this process and for taking the time to fill out this poll. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated

Calling all elementary students

As we start to look forward to the 2021-22 school year, that means it is time for Move Up Day.
On Wednesday, April 21 during regular school hours, all students in Pre-K through 4th grade will have the opportunity to visit their future classroom. They won't want to miss this special occasion as we celebrate our students moving forward.
Re-enrollment deadline is approaching
The deadline for re-enrollment early pricing is fast approaching, ending April 30. Be sure and reserve your spot for the 2021-22 school year by completing your online paperwork today. Visit our website for details.

Everyone wear purple!

We want everyone - and that means you - to wear purple on Tuesday, April 20 in honor of our students who have active duty military parents.
When these students have a bad day in class or struggle in an activity or get a bruise, they don't always have a mom or dad to go home to because their parent is serving overseas. We want to recognize the sacrifice that these students are making. So wear purple in support!
There will be a special guest speaker at chapel and we'll hear from Director of Advancement and Military Services Sue Ellen Rush, who is a former military member and whose husband is active duty.

Basketball schedules are here

It may not be March Madness anymore, but basketball will still be played this spring at Tacoma Baptist Schools. You can find the High School schedules here and the Middle School boys schedule here
Middle School boys will play home games outside in the CAPS building after Pierce County was moved back to Phase 2 in the COVID-19 recovery plan.
