March is Women's History Month!

The CSLC is proud to highlight the accomplishments of women paving the way for others, not just this month but all year round! This month, we're putting a spotlight on organizations founded by women in the Grand Rapids area. Take a look below to learn more and see how you can help support these organizations with service!
  • Grace's Table: Started by a single teen mother, Grace's Table aims to encourage and support teen moms by equipping them with the skills they need to provide for their family and thrive in the community.
  • Treetops Collective: Treetops Collective's mission is to connect New American women with what they need to put roots in the community that will sustain their future generations.
  • Revive & Thrive Project: Revive & Thrive provides meals to those facing a health crisis and also gives teens with healthy food options and job skills. They use nutritious foods to empower and connect the community.
  • Gilda's Club Grand Rapids: Cancer survivor and local philanthropist Twink Frey started Gilda's Club to provide the social and emotional resources for those on their cancer journeys that were lacking in the community.
  • Hope for Single Moms: Hope for Single Moms focuses on career education, community, life assistance, and mentoring to provide single mothers and their children what they need to thrive long-term.
