FROM THE DEAN'S DESK

What a year it has been! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to step away from my role as dean for the College of Pharmacy to help lead the university as the interim executive vice president for academic affairs and provost. Please accept my deepest appreciation to each of you for the tremendous work you have done this past year. I am especially grateful for the outstanding leadership offered by Dr. Sease during the past 13 months as she led our college by serving as our interim dean.

The past several months have served as an opportunity for the college to continue supporting the university and our community in so many ways. Now we are ready to welcome our next cohort of student pharmacists as they start their journey to becoming members of our pharmacy profession.

I am proud to be a member of this college, and I look forward to working with you as we advance our vision and mission. You are a remarkable group of people who are transforming lives every day. It is an honor and privilege to serve you as your dean.

COP Welcomes Four New Faculty Members

COP Students to Compete for National Title

A team of UofSC student pharmacists is headed to compete for a national title after being named finalists in the 2022 NCPA Student Business Plan Competition.

Ph.D. Student Receives Grant from National Institute on Drug Abuse

Sarah Davis, a graduate student in the College of Pharmacy, has received an F31 grant for her research on methamphetamine use and HIV-1 associated neurocognitive disorders.
