Honoring the Class of 2020
Tacoma Baptist will be lighting up our field at 8:20pm (20:20 military time)  for 20 minutes and 20 seconds every Friday night until the night of our scheduled commencement ceremonies.
This is just a small gesture to put the spotlight on this class who is missing out on the last part of their senior year.

Be the light, Class of 2020.
Each week we will highlight a few members of the TBS class of 2020.  We are proud of each one of our seniors and their acheivments.  Congratulations to the Class of 2020!

Kyongryoon So

Kyongryoon has been at TBS since Pre-Kindergarten.  One of his favorite memories is Homecoming this past fall during his senior year.
Mr. Richey is his favorite teacher because teaches students the importance of their faith.  According to Kyongryoon, “He’s also sometimes funny, but likes reading so that kind of makes him lose cool points.”
While at TBS Kyongryoon has been part of the football, basketball, and track teams.  He also has been part of the drama program for 2 years, ASB President and freshman class president, as well as a member of National Honor Society.
After graduation, Kyongryoon plans to attend Seattle University to get a degree in Marketing and Business Analytics. After college he hope to find a job and “start a cute family along with owning 3 of the worlds cutest dogs”.
Congratulations Kyongryoon!

Jillian Tonsager

Jillian has been at TBS for 5 ½ years.  She doesn’t really have a favorite teacher as all of them have done a great job of teaching about Jesus as well as teaching their classes.
She was part of our high school volleyball team from 8th to 10th grade and was a cheerleader her senior year. Also, she has participated in student council as the secretary (1 year) and treasurer (1 year).  She was also part of our leadership class last year.
Her favorite memories have been the TBS high school fall retreats, especially this past year when the seniors were able to go early.
After graduation, Jillian plans to take a gap year and then attend Bethany Global University in Minnesota in the fall of 2021.
Congratulations Jillian!
Congratulations to the Class of 2020 on being accepted to the colleges listed below! Final decisions are still being made about where they will be attending, but the future looks bright for all of our graduating Crusaders!
