Student Care Network drop-in and satellite services provide a quick and convenient way for students to consult privately and one-on-one with a staff member regarding a current concern, explore support options and establish connections with resources on the student’s schedule.

These include the Office of Student Care Coordination, the Center for Student Wellbeing and the University Counseling Center.

Accelerator® Summer Business Immersion webinar for Vanderbilt students

Many students are looking for ways to bolster their educational experience, build their resumes, and set their careers on the right track. Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management offers a three-week summer program (June 5–25, 2022) called Accelerator® Summer Business Immersion that provides current college students and recent graduates with business knowledge, hands-on consulting projects, and career/leadership development. The client project partners for this summer are Nissan and Daily Crunch Snacks—with one more partner to be announced soon.

Owen will host a webinar for students on March 17 at noon CT to share more about the program and answer questions. Space is limited, so if your student is interested, please encourage your student to attend the webinar and apply soon to hold a spot in the program.

Health and Safety Protocols type treatment
As of March 9, Vanderbilt University no longer requires masking or physical distancing indoors. The change aligns the university with recent CDC guidance that classifies Davidson County in the “medium” COVID-19 community level. The university will continue to support those who want to wear a mask at any time for any reason, and expects all community members to respect one another as well.

As a reminder, all health and safety information, including the COVID-19 weekly dashboard, can be found at vu.edu/healthprotocols. We encourage you to check it regularly for updates on campus protocols.

Join us as we enter the next era in Vanderbilt’s nearly 150-year history and celebrate the investiture of Chancellor Daniel Diermeier. Student proposals now being accepted for spring Undergraduate Research Fair

The second annual spring Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Fair is scheduled for Thursday, April 14. Students who have completed research while undergraduates at Vanderbilt are encouraged to apply. Research from all disciplines will be showcased at the event.

To register to present, students must complete the registration form on the Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Fair webpage. Proposals will be accepted until March 23 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Undergraduate Creative Expression Showcase // Submissions due March 24

Registration for Undergraduate Creative Expression Showcase now open

Presenter registration is open for the spring 2022 Vanderbilt Undergraduate Creative Expression Showcase. The showcase will feature student-created projects that are representative of a variety of fields and disciplines. Registration is open to all Vanderbilt undergraduate students who wish to present creative works they have completed during their time at Vanderbilt under the mentorship of a faculty adviser. Students will have the opportunity to present their projects in person via performance, at an easel, or via a digital presentation on a personal device.
