Happy Thanksgiving, BHS Community!

We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable long weekend filled with family, friends, and activities that bring you joy. It is so wonderful to be a part of such a thoughtful and generous community that truly cares about one another. There are so many small examples of everyday kindness each day at BHS - from smiles and greetings, to acknowledgements and appreciations, to simply holding doors open for one another. As a schoolwide project, our Social Justice League led a food drive to benefit Helpline House which produced dozens of boxes of food to support families in need in our community. Thank you!
And this past week we would like to give a shout out to our amazing kitchen staff who prepared a delicious Thanksgiving meal for students and staff; a PTSO sponsored staff lunch with food donated from our families; and a gmeal donated and delivered from Sawatdy Thai Restaurant to feed our whole staff as well. It is fair to say that BHS Staff feels the love! Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making these events a success for our school community!

Go Spartans!

T1 REPORT CARDS ARE POSTED IN SKYWARD
Image of Student Progress Reports

Progress Reports are in

As a courtesy, we wanted to provide you with a reminder that you now have access to your student's term one grades as well as to provide you with this helpful how-to-document about accessing grades after grade marking periods.
Term one grades are considered a progress report. Semester one ends in late January. Semester one grades will post in early February and will be placed on the transcript with credit attached. Students in classes where they are earning a D or not passing at this time should be hearing from their teacher in the next few weeks with the intent of helping students to make a more personalized plan for success.
FACILITIES KINDNESS COUNTS AWARDS

Kindness counts!

The BHS custodial team recently awarded the Facilities Kindness Counts Award to the following students: to both Matthew and Milo for clearing students' lunch trash without being asked; and to Garrett for volunteering to unload large paper rolls in Ms. Hess' classroom.

Thank you!

The annual BHS staff Thanksgiving luncheon was a success thanks to all those who contributed and volunteered on Friday. The food was incredible and so appreciated. Don't forget to pick up your dishes and utensils next week.
In case you missed it, here is the recording for the Cash for College webinar held on November 10.
Mark your calendars for the next PTSO meeting on Tuesday, December 6 at 7pm in the BHS Library. Helpline House and the YES! Fund will be our guests. Please join us in giving them a warm Spartan welcome! See you there!
We are still raising money for our Teacher Opportunity Grants. To donate and learn more about what the PTSO does, visit our website

CHECK FOR FINES & FEES

The online payment system is more than just a place to make payments.

Login to the online payment system to see if your student has any materials that need to be returned or fees that need to be paid. You can also verify previously made payments by clicking “Reprint Receipts” in the Reports section of the site.

If your student is in a band class, has a parking ticket or an AP Class, fees associated with these were recently uploaded.

Fine ledgers are sent periodically throughout the year by email to all guardians whose students have outstanding materials or fines owing. Overdue or missing materials can always be returned in order to clear fines associated with them.
