Penn Medicine has received a $4.9 million grant from the National Cancer Institute to explore how implementation science and behavioral economics can increase the uptake of evidence-based cancer care. Rinad Beidas and Justin Bekelman will lead the five-year effort.  
In Health Affairs, Genevieve Kanter and Peter Groeneveld analyze the distribution of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds in the U.S., finding that low-income areas have fewer ICU beds than high-income areas, with a large rural-urban divide. 
Virtually no regulatory structures in the U.S. protect health privacy in the context of the digital health footprint, according to a new analysis in JAMA Network Open by David Grande, Raina Merchant, David Asch, Carolyn Cannuscio, and colleagues.
