Barbershop Harmony Society 2021 International Convention in Cleveland is rebooked to 2024

The health and safety concerns that have impacted every part of life for the last year led to the decision that an in-person convention this summer was simply not feasible. Working directly with quartets, chorus leaders, district leaders, the judging community, and the convention bureau in Cleveland, it became clear that the prudent course for all interests would be to rebook the event in Cleveland for 2024. We have secured the same facilities, the same rates and will enjoy all the great advantages Cleveland had promised for this year.

Feed your need at  Barbershop Tags on Facebook

Not so far away now, we'll all be singing face to face again. And when we do, you'll want to fuel those late night tag sessions with a big inventory of cool new stuff.

(JK, peeps— some of these "tags" are practically song length themselves.) Browse new creations, multitrack recordings, collaborations, and take part in challenges for reimagining old favorites.

Arr. Gene Cokeroft
This arrangement was performed by Upshot! quartet at the 2020 Senior Quartet Contest held in Jacksonville, FL. The quartet placed 6th in their very first contest together and featured Bruce Cokeroft on tenor, son of the late Gene Cokeroft (arranger), and barbershop legend Jack Slamka on bass. Upshot! was the last quartet Slamka sang with before his untimely passing in the fall of 2020 due to complications of COVID-19. The Barbershop Harmony Society is pleased to publish this arrangement in honor of Jack Slamka, his lifelong dedication to the barbershop art form, and his indelible legacy.
