| With nearly 30 years of professional experience, Jennifer Goodrich has served in multiple capacities in the mental health and substance abuse field. She has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Central State University and a Master of Education in Community Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, an approved supervisor for both licensures. She has served as the President and CEO of Pivot, A Turning Point for Youth since May of 2019. As a part of Pivot since 1999 she has had the opportunity to address the needs of youth who experience layers of trauma, involvement in child welfare and juvenile justice, and youth experiencing homelessness, alongside a talented and dedicated staff who put the needs of clients first.
Jennifer is married to Jeff Goodrich, with two young adult daughters, Grace and Amelia. Jennifer is led by her faith and desire to be of service to others. “For me leadership is not a job title, it is an action and example. You don’t achieve it. You live it.”

The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago is brimming with thought evocative exhibits ranging from jewels and precious stones to displays about different cultures, animals and plants. My favorite, though, is the exhibit “Evolving Planet.” This massive exhibit narrates the evolution of our earth and the development of life on earth. A center piece of “Evolving Planets” is the massive skeletal remains of the T.Rex, Sue. The grandeur of Sue is awesome. Yet, more important are the microscopic cells that divided and eventually became life. As usual, I left the museum with a renewed appreciation of our world. The plants, even weeds, took on a new significance because I could see that they were part of a creative plan. Butterflies flitting from flower to flower, birds singing, even trucks honking are part of our wonderous world. READ MORE

Greetings Rotarians, What a busy month July has been for your Rotary District Governor line and our Treasurer and Administrator. On July 8th, our leadership team met and planned this year's district budget. On July 22 another planning meeting was held to plan the District Assembly for District Officers & Committee Chairs, Assistant District Governors, and Club Officer Training. I have enjoyed my visits to three clubs and have four more scheduled in August and September. In Rotary Service, Deena Fisher District Governor 2022-2023
