Justin,
As a community, we continue to grieve the loss of one of our own, student Wyatt Guthrie, who passed away suddenly last week. We will set aside time to remember Wyatt and celebrate his life today at 5:00 p.m. in Hardie Auditorium.
Wyatt was a junior from Greensboro, North Carolina, who was away from campus this semester preparing to study abroad. He left behind many classmates, friends, and family who loved him dearly, and we will cherish his time at Rhodes always.
The sudden death of a member of our community can cause a range of emotions and leaves all of us with a profound sense of loss. I have learned a lot about Wyatt in the last few days, and it is clear he was very special and so well-loved.
Access to counseling support is available for any student who needs assistance navigating this loss.
