- While I haven't been at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School long, Ms. Inett Dabney's influence and impact here can be felt and seen throughout the building. She makes a concerted effort to support teachers and staff, while cultivating a culture of high expectations for all. As teachers, we are encouraged to engage our students and consider their individual needs each and every day. I want to wish Ms. Dabney a very special Happy School Principal Appreciation Week! Thank you so much for all you do!
- I would like to recognize Ms. Singleton at John B. Cary Elementary for her support and helpful attitude, as well as her hard work and expertise. Thank you for all that you do!
- This well-deserved shout-out goes to Greg Muzik for his dedicated and skilled leadership at Mary Munford Elementary. He keeps his priorities in place and supports his teachers and staff without question. Mr. Muzik's smile is infectious and omnipresent, as is his nonstop energy. His service to RPS stretches for miles and years and we are grateful and so fortunate to have him!
- This shout-out is for Principal Hines at Bellevue Elementary School. Thank you for all your support and encouragement! You definitely lead with love and are easily approachable. I always feel heard when speaking with you. I feel so lucky to work at a school where the principal really wants the best for you. Thank you!!
- The nursing staff at Huguenot High School wants to shout out our principal and assistant principals for their outstanding care and support to all students and staff.
- Shout-out to Ms. Grygiel at Mary Munford for all of the hard work and fun lessons and activities she incorporates into my son’s fifth grade class.
- Leadership comes in many different shapes, forms and job titles and I want to shout-out some of the unsung heroes at Carver Elementary. Ms. Hite, Ms. Adair and Ms. Chelsea are not in it for the fanfare but they deserve to be praised for the work they do each and every day to serve our wonderful scholars at Carver. Thanks for all you do!!
- I want to shout-out AP Anderson for working hard to keep us focused on the goal of supporting all of our students to make forward progress!
- We are so grateful to have Nurse West here at Bellevue Elementary. The level of care she provides every day for our Bellevue Dragons is top notch! She goes above and beyond to support our students and their families and the staff here. We are so grateful to have Nurse West as part of the Bellevue Crew!
- I'd like to send some appreciation for Michael Powell, principal at John B. Cary Elementary School. Mr. Powell is there for literally all of it. He starts his days outside in the mornings greeting students and parents during dropoff, he stays as long as he needs to to make sure things run smoothly, and he is present for (and usually emceeing and DJing!) every event held at John B. Cary. Mr. Powell really cares about his school and his students. We are so lucky to have him as our principal and supporting our scholars.
- I would like to give a huge shout-out to my principal, Maurice Burton at RCEEA. I have never seen a principal so dedicated and supportive of the students and staff! He not only inspires his staff to be the best educators we can be, but provides the support we as educators need. He doesn’t stop with his staff, but continues his dedication to the students, finding venues for them to go into the community and practice vocational training as well as providing each and every student with educational and emotional support daily. He has truly created a sense of family, community, and learning with love at the Academy!
- I think every parent, teacher and child at J.B. Fisher is proud to call Mr. Samuels our principal. His genuine joy for his profession and our community shines bright. His spirit lifts our children and teachers up. His commitment to our community is clear and palpable every day. He is everything we needed and more. I feel so lucky knowing my daughters are in his care each day. Mr. Samuels, we are proud of who you are!
- I would love to take this time to shout-out Principal Wright at Fairfield Court. Thank you for your leadership. Thank you for your high expectations at Fairfield for the students and staff. Thank you for going above and beyond for the school as a whole. Thank you for fighting in the trenches to show that we at Fairfield do have a "growth mindset". Thank you for believing in the East End school that you knew could "Soar like an eagle". Together, teamwork makes dreams work. As you lead, we shall follow.
- Thank you, Bonnie Bauman, custodian extraordinaire at Summer Hill. She works so hard to ensure the building is sparkling and maintained. Your hard work and dedication are greatly appreciated.
- Many thanks for the amazing job Principal Cynthia Carney-Robinson is doing with Richmond Virtual Academy. She is an amazing person, with a positive attitude and a strong sense of education and leadership. She is also very kind and loving to our teachers, families and children.
- Shout-out to Ms. Sandra Pillard who is the director of the homebased/homebound program through Richmond Virtual Academy. She has been a driving force for our program and we can't be any happier that she is our leader.
- I want to send a shout-out to Principal Michael Powell at John B. Cary Elementary School from the lunch buddies. We’re having a great year with our scholars and we’re glad to be able to work with them.
- I want to take the time to shout-out Principal Murphy-Braxton. She goes above and beyond for her students and staff. When she is absent, she leaves us in the great hands of AP Jamison. We soar to take care of our village, big and small.
- I would like to give a warm shout-out to Principal Cook at Henry L. Marsh III Elementary. She is caring and encouraging towards all of our staff at HMES – those in the building daily as well as itinerant staff. Ms. Cook is thoughtful and supportive of all our kids and always puts her all into her work! Ms. Cook, we love having you as a leader and a teammate!
- I want to shout-out our principal, Shayla Holeman. She shows incredible resilience and is so supportive of students, parents, and staff.
- I would like to take this opportunity to give a shout-out to our remarkable principal at Franklin Military Academy, Col. David Hudson. He is truly an outstanding leader. He has never wavered in his dedication and commitment to our students, staff, and parents. He always puts others first. I sincerely appreciate all he does to make our school a wonderful place to work and a place for our students to succeed.
- Shout-out to Principal Ivy at Albert Hill Middle School for her dedication and how she is always there for her students, staff and parents. You are very much appreciated and loved!!
