|
If you are a faculty member or exempt staff, you are required to submit an annual Outside Interest Disclosure form. The deadline for submission is Dec. 17, 2022.

New IRB Consent Form Templates Required Beginning Oct. 10
|
The UMSL Institutional Review Board (IRB) has released new consent form templates. The use of the new templates will be required beginning Dec. 10, 2022. For more information on the changes to the consent forms and to access the new versions, visit the IRB WEB SITE.

White House Mandates Public Access for Federally Funded Research
|
Recently, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) announced that by the end of 2025 all peer-reviewed articles stemming from federally funded research must be available to the public immediately after publication. MORE INFO

UMSL Junior Faculty Research Travel Award
|
The Junior Faculty Travel Grant competition is open to full-time, untenured, tenure-track faculty members and to full-time non-tenure track assistant professors whose appointment involves a research mission. The purpose of the funding is to strengthen faculty research and creative activities. Up to $1,000 will be awarded for expenses to attend a professional conference. The Panel will consider applications for conference travel between 1/1/2023 and 12/31/2023. DEADLINE: 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 14, 2022

Pilot Projects Related to Alcohol Use or Addiction
|
The Missouri Center for Addiction Research and Engagement is currently soliciting applications for pilot project funding to be included as part of an upcoming center grant submission to the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. The overall focus of the proposed center is on the identification of the antecedents and consequences of alcohol consumption with an early focus on how these antecedents and consequences shift as individuals transition across the minimum legal drinking age of 21 in the United States. Applications must be received by Oct. 15 to receive full consideration. MORE INFO
