Summer Library Program 2020
The end of the 2020 Summer Library Program is near! The 2020 SLP will end on Saturday, August 8 and all entries must be received by that date.
If you’re tracking on Beanstack, the challenge will automatically end on Saturday, August 8. If you have been keeping track using our paper options, they must be turned in to any LDL branch by August 8. SLP paper trackers can be turned in via the branch book drop.
Grand prize drawings for the Kid, Teen, and Adult SLP Reading Challenges will take place the following week and winners will be contacted to set up a curbside appointment to collect their prize.
To be entered into the grand prize drawing, adults must submit three book reviews and teens must track seven hours of reading throughout the challenge.
For the Kids SLP Reading Challenge, any participant who tracks 20 days or more of reading will receive a certificate and free book. After August 8, staff will call the Kids SLP Reading Challenge finishers to schedule curbside appointments to pick up certificates and books.
Thank you to the Friends of the Marguerite deAngeli Branch Library for helping to sponsor the 2020 Summer Library Program and to Campbell's Greenhouse for the donation of garden vegetables and herbs at the Clifford Branch Library.
