This intimate open-mic session invites students across GV to unplug think about the American Dream through spoken word, song, dance, etc. Co-sponsored by Recreation and Wellness and The Sociology Club.

"Be the Change": A student-led podcast

In part 3 of a 4 part series leading up to the Michigan presidential primary, Jane sits down with a senior member of GVSU’s College Republicans chapter Dorian Thompson. They chat about how he’s formed his identity with the Republican Party, why it’s important for Republicans to vote in a primary in which Democrats are dominating the news, and how he finds common ground with people he doesn’t agree with.

This drive will take place from February 10th - March 16th!

Children's Advocacy Center Drive

All children should have access to basic necessities. This month the CSLC is proud to support the GVSU Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority who are collaborating with the Children's Advocacy Center to provide supplies to children in need.
Drop off locations: OMA (Kirk 1240) + CSLC (Kirk 1108). February 13th - March 5th!

Treetops Collective Volunteer Opportunity

Treetops Collective connects New Americans - teen girls and women - to people and opportunities in the West MI aread, so our new neighbors can put down roots in our community and flourish for generations to come.
Will you consider walking alongside a New American woman or teen as a friend and advocate throughout the 2020 Sister Circles cohort? Just one hour a week can make a huge difference and result in life-long friendships and community building!
