Winter Break Mindfulness

On Tuesdays and Thursdays during the month of December, DuWell and Blue Devils Care will be offering guided meditation from 1-2 p.m. This offering is designed to ensure that a variety of wellness resources continue to be available to you even after you have finished your academic responsibilities for the semester. Register here.

On-Campus Resources over Winter Break

Are you living on campus during Winter Break this year? Wondering what resources are available to you? Though many offices and buildings have reduced hours, there are still options for dining, wellness, and other activities for you. Check out the roundup of resources on the Student Affairs Instagram.

ICYMI: Next Gen Living & Learning 2.0

The newly created Next Generation Living & Learning Implementation Committee seeks to create a residential experience that promotes student growth, meaningful inclusion and health. This committee will build on the work of a 2019 Board of Trustees task force.
Stay tuned for more on the first student town hall, to be held next Wednesday, December 9, at 2:00 p.m. EST. In the meantime, share your thoughts here.

FAQ on Title IX

Have questions about new federal Title IX regulations? Undergraduates, graduate and professional students, faculty, and staff came together recently to create a comprehensive and clear FAQ page to help Duke community members understand their rights in sexual harassment and discrimination cases and the university's processes for handling these cases.

Contact Tracing to Continue Over Break

Have you spoken with a member of the contact tracing team? We are ever-thankful for their diligence and care this semester. Most contact tracers were re-deployed from other jobs across the university to take on the meticulous and time-consuming work of contact tracing, and are making an enormous difference in our fight to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Curious to know who the team is? Meet them (and their bitmojis), and learn what they want you, our students, to know.

Spotted: puppy therapy!

Laura Andrews of DukeReach and her new pup Gus joined a small, socially distant gathering of East Campus residents and staff pets behind Gilbert-Addams last week for some much-needed puppy love
Thanks for providing some animal therapy while keeping our community safe!
