Dear students,
As we continue to evolve privacy standards to keep up with rapidly changing technology, all students now have the option to opt in or out of sharing certain personal data for certain uses. Please read the information below in regard to updating your data-sharing preferences.

We are in the process of updating our systems to include more transparency when it comes to received communications. You now have the option to opt in to share certain personal information in order to receive information and communications related to various programs and engagement opportunities within Duke University that may be of interest to you. To facilitate your interaction with certain Duke affinity groups, you may provide your consent for Student Affairs to share special categories of non-directory personal data (e.g., demographic information, gender identity, gender pronouns, religious affiliation) among various departments and affinity groups.

We encourage you to visit the Duke Group Manager "Personal Data Consent" page by clicking here and updating your preference prior to the start of the Fall 2022 semester.

You can always update or change your personal information and data sharing preferences at a later date.

Thank you for updating your personal data sharing preferences.
