Duke Student Affairs

September 21, 2021

Fall 2021 is in full swing! How are you feeling? Our poll last week showed that autumn at Duke is your favorite, and we can't argue with that. Check out this week's poll below and let us know what's on your Duke or Durham fall bucket list. 🍁🍂
As the weather starts to cool down, cold and flu season starts to ramp up. It is vital to the safety and health of the Duke and Durham community that we all get our flu vaccinations as soon as possible (it's also a Duke requirement this year). Walk-in flu clinics started last week, so get your vaccine early!
Don't forget, we both have office hours, and would love to see you! To meet with Mary Pat, sign up here. To meet with Gary, make an appointment here
Go Duke,

COVID updates

Numbers are declining
You've worked SO HARD over the past couple of weeks to get our breakthrough case numbers down. THANK YOU! Please keep taking advantage of the many new outdoor seating options for meals, and stay masked everywhere you can, especially indoors and in large crowds.
Masks at sporting events
Heading to East Campus for field hockey on Friday, or Wallace Wade for football on Saturday? Remember to take a note from the Blue Devil, and MASK UP!

ICYMI: Chronicle goes digital

After serving the university community for 117 years as a print newspaper, the Chronicle has gone completely digital, apart from a few special print editions.
Readers can sign up for the Daily Rundown, a daily email with top Duke Chronicle headlines.

Happy Autumn from Duke Rec & P.E.!

Puppies Break the Internet (Again)

You've no doubt noticed small puppers from Duke Canine Cognition trotting around campus with their handlers, or possibly heard the squeals or "oohs" and "awws" from surrounding students and staff. Follow the link above to find out how you can get involved or visit the puppies for some heightened endorphins and cuteness overload.
