Commodore Connection is an email newsletter series created exclusively for parents and families of Vanderbilt students. You’ll receive several special issues this summer that are tailored for the parents or guardians of incoming transfer students to help your family prepare for move-in in August. Once your student is on campus, you’ll receive a monthly edition that is sent to all undergraduate families.
Additional information for transfer students can be found at Transition Programs and at the bottom of this email. Move-in information and transfer student orientation schedule will be available in early August.
We’re looking forward to seeing you on campus in August and hope you will visit as often as you can. Please save the date for Family Weekend, which will be Sept. 9–11, 2022. It will be a weekend full of fun activities and opportunities to learn about your student’s experience on campus. Plus, help us cheer on our ’Dores at Vanderbilt Stadium as they take on Wake Forest!
As members of the Vanderbilt community, we encourage you to take part in the university’s robust virtual programming. We also encourage you to connect with your local Vanderbilt Chapter through virtual and in-person events.
