Dear students,
Welcome back to campus after what we hope was a wonderful Thanksgiving break with family and friends. Unfortunately, the pandemic did not take a break, and we find ourselves now confronted with news of the omicron variant that appears to now be spreading throughout other regions of the world. While scientists are still studying and assessing the risks and potential impact of this variant, but there are things you can do know to ensure you are as protected as possible.

The best precaution you can take now to prevent COVID-19 is to get your booster shot before leaving for winter break in a few weeks. We have added new options for you to get vaccinated on campus to provide plenty of opportunity for you to do so.

All Duke students can now get their booster at any of the following campus locations:

Blue Devil Tower (by appointment only)
110 Frank Bassett Dr
Wednesdays: 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Duke University Hospital/Duke Medical Pavilion 2W96 (by appointment only)
10 Duke Medicine Circle
Thursdays: 7:30 a.m. – Noon (Moderna)
Fridays: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Pfizer)

Duke Clinic 1J (walk-in only)
40 Duke Medicine Circle, Durham, NC 27710
Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. – noon and 1 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
With increased travel and holiday gatherings typical this time of year, we are anticipating an increase in COVID-19 cases during the next few months. If you are unable to get your booster shot before winter break, we strongly encourage you to get your booster shot before returning to campus for the spring semester.
Thank you for doing your part to help us begin the spring semester as safely as possible.
Go Duke,
