You with all your favorite Thanksgiving sides

To do over Thanksgiving break

  1. Pet your dog
  2. Sleep
  3. Eat
  4. Serve someone over Thanksgiving! Here’s how:
If you’re staying in Oxford, you can volunteer with or donate to Oxford Food Pantry or Grove Grocery. Or volunteer at home! There’s always a friend, neighbor or stranger who could use your help. You can also sign up for the Holly Holly Holidays downtown in December.

Egg Bowl Run Food Drive
Support Ole Miss ROTC’s Magnolia Battalion as they collect canned goods for the Egg Bowl Run Food Drive. Canned food donations can be dropped off until Friday, Nov. 19 in Barnard Hall, Army ROTC Floor. Email missyd@olemiss.edu for more info.

Thanksgiving in Oxford

If you’re staying in Oxford next week, enjoy the pretty Square and see what else is going on over the break:

  • Participate in the 6th Annual Turkey Trot Fun Run/Walk on Thanksgiving Day, 9-11 a.m. at the South Campus Rail Trail! A donation of 10 canned goods gets you a free shirt. RSVP here!
  • Watch the Lane Train and the team take on Mississippi State in Starkville at 6:30 p.m on Thanksgiving Day! Just don’t eat too much turkey and sleep through it. 🙃
  • Plan a Friendsgiving or decorate your living space for the holidays! Be sure to listen to our Holly Totty playlist on Spotify.
  • Start studying for finals! It’s never too early. The sooner you start, the sooner you’re done. 😎
