| Dear Graduate School Community,
Welcome back from spring break. I hope you were able to enjoy some time to refresh before we head into the last few weeks of the semester.
I would like to congratulate the winners of the Elevator Pitch Competition we held on February 26 as part of the Spring Career Colloquium: Jennifer Shuman, Kacie Dunham-Carr, and Jiaxin Jessie Wang. Thank you to all who attended the event!
Looking ahead into April, the Graduate Student Council (GSC) will be holding spring elections. The GSC is the representative body for all current Graduate School students, with students serving on the council from each graduate department. If you are looking for ways to get involved or serve the Vanderbilt community, I would encourage you to consider running for a role on GSC.
I want to thank the current officers for their service. I am grateful to have a partnership with this group of leaders, to meet regularly to discuss students’ concerns, and to support GSC initiatives like 3MT and Department Dollars.
The Graduate Student Council will be sharing more in the coming weeks on how to get involved.
Best,
