HIF
HIF offers loyalty benefits to Pony Club WA  by recognising your whole length of loyalty with a previous fund. For example, if you’ve been with Bupa for more than 5 years you’d be able to claim the $2500 immediately!
First established in WA in 1954, the Health Insurance Fund of Australia (HIF) provides affordable Hospital and Extras cover choices across Australia. As well as being proudly not-for-profit, HIF is also Australia’s first and only ‘NOC02’ certified Carbon Neutral health fund.

Here are some quick reasons why joining HIF is a smart choice.

Small premiums, BIG benefits: HIF offers some of the most competitive and affordable private health insurance products in Australia. Their benefits are some of the best around, yet their average premium increases are consistently ranked among the lowest in the country.

They’ve got Australia covered: HIF provides access to over 500 private hospitals across Australia. That means, if you’re going to be away from home, or you plan to relocate, they’ll still be there to help you during your time of need.

HIF makes switching easy: Want to switch to HIF from another fund? Don’t let the paperwork put you off. They’ll take care of it all for you AND honour your length of policy with your previous fund, meaning you don’t need to re-serve any unnecessary waiting periods.

No anonymous off-shore call centres: When you call HIF, you’re talking to a real HIF team member, right here in Australia. Call them on 1300 13 40 60 and see for yourself.

ACTIVE RIDING

ENGLAND 2018
On the 5th November 2017,  selections were held for The West Australian Representative for the Australian team set to compete in England next year..
We had five riders trying out for selection: Oceania Lyon, Ebony Johnson, Skye McMullen, Tiger Lilly Gibbs and Ryan Frantom.
The selectors were very impressed with the standard of riding, horsemanship and the confident way the riders interviewed.
Any of those riders could have done an excellent job for Pony Club WA, but we could only choose one.
Tiger Lilly Gibbs was chosen from the participants and will officially be representing Pony Club WA at the international competition.
We wish her luck for the trip and we are sure Tiger will make Pony Club WA proud.
Thanks to all who helped on the day.

PCA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

JOURNEY TO THE 2019 PONY CLUB AUSTRALIA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Pony Club Nationals will be held in NSW in 2019 and will offer a range of sports and classes to showcase the talent of each state and determine the cream of the crop in all things Pony Club. The 2017 PCA National Championships saw the introduction of the Sub Junior Age group (10-12yrs) and will be included in 2019, offering even more opportunities for our talented riders to compete.
Unfortunately, time and money is always a barrier for riders/horses and parents to attend from Western Australia. To combat this, we are starting now!
The National Championships Taskforce will map out a plan to offer development training days and fundraising to maximize the next two years. If you or someone you know is interesting in joining the taskforce and getting started on this great opportunity, use the link below to get in touch!
To assist with the start of our planning we are also calling for riders – Who wants to go?
We would like to know if you are interested in attending so dates can be set in the upcoming 2018 calendar and we can help you in any way possible.
Nominations and EOI’s can be submitted at any time throughout the year, just email development@pcawa.com
Nationals Taskforce
‘A great experience for any rider wishing to compete at a national level. The friendships and relationships you make will last a lifetime and overall the competition is exciting. You can be guaranteed to be supported by your fellow WA team members.’ Natasha Williams, 2015 Nationals Competitor
