| Coach Allen "Cutt" Cole – Last night, the School Board passed a resolution dedicating the gymnasium floor of Thomas Henderson MS in honor of Coach Allen "Cutt" Cole, who faithfully served the students of Henderson as a teacher and boys basketball coach for 18 years! Coach Cole not only led his teams to many winning seasons (some undefeated!), but he also demonstrated excellence as a nurturing educator, mentor, and leader within the Henderson and Northside communities. Thank you for serving with love, Coach Cole!

- To Ms. Nuckols and Ms. Bell, thank you so much for everything this year, from your amazing communication with parents, to showering the kids with love at their birthday parties, and teaching them so much. We've really enjoyed being at Maymont Preschool this year and it's all thanks to all that you do! Wishing you a peaceful and relaxing summer.
- Sending a huge shout-out to everyone at Southampton Elementary! What an absolutely fantastic community to be a part of. From the principal's office to the custodial department, nutrition team, school nurse, and of course all the amazing teachers, this year has been one for the ages. The resource group of Ms. Johnston, Sra. Valencia, Ms. Greene, Mr. Mansaray, and Mr. Sides has kept my son moving, creating, exploring, and expanding his creativity in such a wonderful way. Special shout-out to the Excel program. I'm not quite sure we would have survived without you. And lastly, the first-grade teachers!! You all are absolute rockstars. Ms. Angles, you have been our lighthouse this year. Thank you for helping my son evolve from the quiet kid in the back of the class to the confident little human he's become. We love you all!!!
- Shout-out to Kieasha King with RVA for her continued strength and advocacy for all scholars of RPS but especially RVA! Hoot Hoot!
