NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Wilkes Families,

Thank you to families for making time to come (virtually or in person) to winter conferences! A big thanks to our Wilkes staff for all the work and thoughtfulness that is involved in sharing student progress.

A special thanks to our amazing PTO who provided delicious treats, sandwiches, and other snacks for staff during conferences; we are so fortunate to have such a supportive and generous community!

We hope that your family will participate in our Helpline House food and hygiene drive. We are excited for Wilkes students to make a difference in our greater Bainbridge community.

Warmly,

Whitney
HELPLINE HOUSE FOOD & HYGIENE DRIVE
Last week to contribute!
Please help support Helpline House with needed donoations! Every donation makes a difference.
Wilkes 4th Grade Leadership Council is coordinating a food and hygiene drive to assist Helpline House in filling their household pantry. Helpline House is a Bainbridge non-profit that offers an umbrella of social services and invites the community to become a part of a circle of giving and receiving help - Neighbor helping Neighbor.
Donations will be accepted until February 2, 2023, Wilkes students and staff are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and hygiene items.
Helpline is requesting for the following items:
  • Canned fruit
  • Youth snacks
  • Shelf-stable proteins
  • Dental care items
  • Shaving products
  • Toilet paper
All donations can be dropped off in the front office.
HEALTH ROOM
Clothing donations needed for our health room
Our health room provides dry clothes for students who need a change of clothes.  With the recent wet weather. We are requesting sweatpants only. We especially need bigger sizes 8-12, however all soft pants of any size would be a great help.

If you have any gently used clothing you are no longer using, please consider donating them to the health room.  We would appreciate it!
