It's better to be a member – Join Today!

There is strength in numbers.  ATMIA Canada is stronger with your support, and your organization gains strength from being part of ATMIA.
If you or your organization are part of the ATM industry, but not a member of ATMIA Canada, you are missing out on a wealth of great opportunities.  ATMIA members can participate in working committee groups that will help your business stay on top of security threats and the latest strategies for mitigating them.  The ATM Cyber, Software and Encryption Security Working Group and the Cassette Security Working Group are just two examples.
When the pandemic began last year, did you hesitate to continue servicing your ATM fleet because of the conflicting press reports on whether ATM technicians were considered "essential workers"?  With the help of Hill+Knowlton, ATMIA quickly informed its members that ATM personnel did indeed meet the criteria for essential workers.   And H+K also assisted us in getting a retraction from provincial leadership who misspoke on the safety of cash.
There are many other issues that our industry is dealing with, as well.  And these are matters that you will not likely hear about in the eventing news.  That's why an industry trade association is so important.
You need access to the information and resources that ATMIA has accumulated.  And ATMIA needs your support, in addition to the 65 organizations that are already make up the Canada region membership.
There has never been a better time to join ATMIA for the first time.  Or re-join if you have been a member in the past.  Give me a call today to discuss the temporary discounts available on new memberships.
By joining this month, you will also qualify for member rates for the ATMIA Canada Biennial Conference in Vancouver next April.
Stay safe and keep well in these challenging times.

Feel free to reach ATMIA Canada executive director David Tente by email at or telephone +1.407.833.7906.

Job Convergence Ahead!

Job seekers and employers are after the same thing – coming together for opportunity.

The ATM Industry Career Center provides convergence – offering job seekers and employers in this unique industry a place to converge on common objectives.  And it is the only career site dedicated solely to ATM talent and the ATM industry.
In the last 12 months, over 34,000 people have used the ATM Industry Career Center.  There are nearly 500 active job seekers registered on the site.  And all of it focused on ATM industry talent!
This is a critical time for the world and the ATM industry.  In the months ahead, there will be a surge in hiring as we steadily get back to more normal employment.  Make sure that your organization is ready to get out in front of the ATM industry’s best talent.  A big step in that direction is to make sure that your hiring managers know about the ATM Industry Career Center.
Both employers and job seekers can set up a free account.  ATMIA membership is not required, but members do receive discounted rates on job postings and other services.  And this is not just a robust and sophisticated job board.  It is also a marketing resource that can help you “sell” candidates on the benefits of working for your organization.

To mark the milestone of launching the certification system for Next Gen ATMs, which enable customers to transact at ATMs via their mobile bank apps, ATMIA today published its “Next Gen ATM User Interface and Metrics” best practices. The aim of the new industry manual is guide ATM operators, vendors and service-providers to measure how to maximize the customer experience and interface at Next Gen ATMs.
