This is My Song: A Veterans Day Program
Thursday, November 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary
| |
This concert will be filled with patriotic music and readings to honor and celebrate those who have served our country in the armed forces. The evening will feature the Orlando Concert Band and St. Luke’s Music Ministries, and we will hear music and share in special readings to lift up and highlight the power of those who have served our country faithfully through the years.
During the event, a special offering will be collected to benefit Soldiers’ Angels, a national organization with a chapter in Orlando whose mission is to provide aid, comfort, and resources to the military, veterans, and their families. Because the focus of Soldiers’ Angels is the soldiers and their families, they are uniquely positioned to address the unique and complex needs of veterans. St. Luke’s was connected with this organization through a veteran who is a St. Luker, and our Military Ministry leaders. 100% of your special offering this evening will support Soldiers’ Angels. You can learn more and give online at st.lukes.org/veterans.
