Welcome New Blue Devils!

Check out the Duke Transfer Digest each week for the top five most important deadlines and pieces of information to help you transition before Orientation. This edition pays special tribute to COVID-prevention measures.

Download SymMon App

SymMon is a Duke-made app used by students for entry and surveillance testing, symptom monitoring, and more! Download this before arriving to campus and be prepared to use it on the 17th for your entry test.

Prepare for Entry Testing

Entry testing on Move-In Day and weekly surveillance testing throughout the year will be self-administered. In order to prepare you for this process, watch the following step-by-step how-to video.

Check Your Vaccine Compliance

Know your vaccine status before arriving on campus. You must be compliant with Duke's COVID vaccine requirement by August 23rd or your DukeCard will be deactivated. Scan the QR code above to determine if you need to complete your vaccine process during Orientation Week. You will have time to receive assistance from Student Health at Penn Pavilion between the hours of 8:00am – 3:30pm. We recommend getting this squared away after entry testing on Tuesday or first thing on Wednesday morning.

COVID-19 Policy Plan Coming Soon

All undergraduate students will receive the COVID-19 Policy Plan for the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year. All undergraduate students are required to commit to these policies. Commitments will be captured by electronic signature through a link in the email distributed shortly. The email will come from "Duke Office of Audit Risk and Compliance” with the address: <msgsystem@compliance360.com>. Individuals who have not yet completed the electronic signature will continue to receive daily email reminders from this address until the agreement is signed electronically.
