Today's climate has forced us to work remotely away from our colleagues and to figure out how to keep things running smoothly. The good news is that #ALAisHere for you to help you navigate the unknowns and help you discover new solutions to your everyday work issues.

As such, ALA is excited to announce a Virtual Conference opportunity for members, business partners and other legal management professionals this summer. We may be restricted on the numbers who can gather for in-person events, but we can gather together online for this incredible opportunity to receive professional development, get continuing education credits and network in real time with our peers.
ALA 2020 Annual Conference Virtual Town Hall
Last week, ALA held a virtual Town Hall meeting through Zoom, as the in-person ALA 2020 Annual Conference was not able to be held. For those who are unaware, incorporated into the agenda for each Annual Conference is an Association Luncheon. This luncheon serves as the Annual Meeting of the Association, which is required by the ALA bylaws.

During this session, ALA President James L. Cornell, III, President-Elect Debra L. Elsbury, CLM, and ALA's Interim Executive Director April L. Campbell, JD, delivered information regarding the current state of the Association and hosted a Town Hall. This meeting also marked the transition of leadership Association-wide as James recognized outgoing Directors and officially passed the gavel over to Debbie.
We thank James for his leadership over the past year, and welcome Debbie as ALA's current President!

A recording of the meeting is available for thise who were unable to attend the live event.
