Success Tip of the Month
Here's what to do when you're not sure what to do. Have you ever found yourself asking questions such as:
- Am I where I'm supposed to be?
- Am I doing what I'm supposed to be doing?
- Am I headed in the right direction?
Take heart because you're in good company. We all ask these questions from time to time.
My encouragement to you if you're wrestling with these questions is to keep moving forward. Resist the urge to press pause until you have it all figured out. Instead, lean into the discomfort of not knowing. Ask yourself the questions and explore the answers – personally and by talking with loved ones who know you. Try things. Succeed. Fail. Try again.
I have found in life that it's often in the chaos that we discover and unearth new potential that we had no idea even existed, but the only way this happens is if we're willing to embrace the lack of clarity. I love what Mother Teresa said, "I have never had clarity; what I have always had is trust."
Continuing to move forward is bold, and it takes trust when we're feeling self-doubt. Take time to explore and I promise, the clarity will come, one day at a time.
